Step One

Application / Registration Enquiry

You submit an application by applying to a vacancy online, submitting your resume or emailing us at careers@officepeople.com.au

Step Two

Video Resume / Interview

We will invite you to complete a video resume / one-way interview on Hiya. The questions are generic, so you only need to record it once. This is our chance to learn more about you and the roles you would be best suited to.

Step Three


All video resumes are reviewed and we shortlist applications according to suitability against our vacancies. Sometimes there might be a role more suited to you that isn’t advertised yet.

Step Four

Formal Interview / Registration

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. In most cases, this will be face-to-face, however we also conduct telephone and online (Skype) interviews, depending on your location. If it’s temp work you’re applying for, you’ll complete your registration (paperwork) pack at this stage.

Step Five


We complete professional reference checks. Some of our clients also require a police clearance, additional assessments or a pre-employment medical.

Step Six

Client Interviews

This is a face-to-face interview with your potential employer, generally at their work premises. Some employers require an additional interview, often with another team member.

Step Seven

Offer / Confirmation

If it’s a permanent role you’ve applied for, if successful, we’ll offer you the position. If it’s temporary work, we’ll confirm your registration is complete.
